| May 16, 2004: Finally, something to remind you why you keep checking this site every 6 months or so.. TWO unreleased OV tracks are now available for download. Both were recorded during the sessions for "Making Cannibals of Birds". They have rarely been heard since then. 1. I've Always Wanted To 2. You Wish That I Was Sinning At some point I hope to upload the out of print "apology neglected" e.p. Stay tuned, and have a great summer. |
| December 2, 2003: Happy Holidays everyone. News, yes news! With MP3.com out of business, I have decided to start hosting my music here. I plan on offering MP3's from Making Cannibals of Birds, as well as: GASP: the out of print "Apology Neglected" e.p. as well. Check back for a notice in this space when the music is available. Thanks for your continuing encouragement. |
| March 18, 2003: Many of you have been complaining that with all the updates on the site, it's difficult keeping up. Well, alas I have to do another. Due to some interesting circumstances that have arisen, OV is going to remain on hiatus for the time being. Tentatively, summer might find more OV news on the horizon.. For now thank you all for the continued support and encouragement. |
| January 23, 2003: Happy New Year to all! Denver's Westword this week (with the Coors Twins on the cover) features a great review of Making Cannibals of Birds! Read it here. Or, better yet, pick up a copy for yourself at a local newsstand! |
| November 27, 2002: First off, thank you very much to everyone who made my "Black Celebration" birthday event this past Saturday so absolutely unbelievable. Bubble Wrap Boy was very pleased. In OV news, work on the new album is on hiatus for the holidays, but early 2003 should bring a new disc with 11 tracks to help you get your omnivoyeur fix. I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving. There's a chance the merchandise will be available in time for Christmas. Know what I wouldn't hold? My breath. |
| September 27, 2002: The new album is officially underway. 10 tracks are being worked on. Tentatively, the new disc will also feature a couple of remixes. The material has a more electronic feel, with some of the songs being geared towards the dance floor. Strange note: One of the tracks may feature (GASP!) an acoustic guitar! Once again, an album title teaser: The title has three words in it. Initials to follow. P.S.: Have you downloaded any OV tracks TODAY?? Do it, do it, the peer pressure is killing you... |
| September 13, 2002: Happy Friday the 13th to everyone.. Well, the Morrissey madness has sadly come to an official end. After seeing the Man in another brilliant performance this past Saturday night in Las Vegas, OV is once again in Denver. For now. A photo from after the Vegas show has been added to the 'pictures' section. There is also info on this page about seeing a picture of Joe & Moz together. Wow. The merchandise is still on its way, but some design issues have slowed the grand unveiling. Stay tuned. |
| September 1, 2002: After three glorious nights of seeing AND (by the grace of God and Moz) TOUCHING Mr. Morrissey himself, OV is back in the Denver hizzouse. A picture from after the Santa Fe show has been added to the 'images' section. OV news: The merchandise is coming! The merchandise is coming! We're not just talking tee-shirts either. Oh yes. Stay tuned! |
| August 25, 2002: OV in Print! This week's Go-Go Magazine (with Erika Christensen from "Swimfan" on the cover) features a write up congratulating OV for our recent success on the MP3.com charts. See page 6, "Music Notes" section. Thanks Go-Go! |

2002: New Poll is available, now with unmoderated comments, you lucky commenters you. You may be asking yourself, "How can I support OV, I already have the CD"? Good question. The answer is by downloading tracks from the MP3.com site. We all want OV to continue climbing the charts. Did you know you only have to play a song from the site for 30 seconds in order for the play to be counted towards chart positions? It's true. So do it daily. Several times a day. ESPECIALLY if you have a fast School/Work/Home DSL connection. Here's the plan: 1. Go to the Audio section, and click one of the song title links. 2. Once you're at MP3.com, choose "Lo-fi Play" or "Hi fi Play". 3. Once your player opens, watch the track timer (you can even turn the volume down, if you've listened to the song a thousand times, which I'm sure you have). Once it reaches 31 seconds or so, CLOSE THE PLAYER. 4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 as many times as you can stand. We're trying to push "Waiting for the Hearse" and "Torture By Design" as much as possible.. Thanks for the help. |
| August 8,
2002: OV IS MOVING UP THE CHARTS! I am ecstatic to report that "Waiting For The Hearse" is # 7 on the MP3.com Colorado Darkwave charts as of today. Thank you for downloading it, please continue to do so whenever you can! At last: The OV Guestbook is up. Link is to your left. NO Fields are mandatory so don't feel like you have to give your email address or whatever. Pandora, world, world, pandora. |
| August 4,
2002: Top 20 Baby! 2 OV tracks are in the top 20 on the current MP3.com Colorado Darkwave Charts: Waiting For The Hearse #16 and Portico #20 Thanks to everyone who's been downloading them. Support OV: (Even if you have the CD) Download and play the tracks from the MP3 site daily. That keen dresser Johnny from down the hall is doing it, so why not you? Also, I'm happy to report that someone typing "people making out" into a search engine brought them to OV.com. One final note: Over the next couple of days, I plan on opening a Pandora's Box like no other on this site. Stay tuned.. |

Thanks to all who participated, and congrats to the five winners: Vanessa L, Nate L, St. Davids, PA; Michelle L, Nova Scotia, Canada; Troy M, San Diego, CA; Eve |

January 29,
2002: Oh, happy day. The release is upon us. Four months ago, when I originally set this as the target date, I had absolutely no confidence in my ability to meet the goal on schedule. How it happened, who knows? Click "Purchase" to the left for info on buying your very own copy. The promo pics are done, and I will make every effort to have them here by the weekend. |
| January 22, 2002: Well, with the time finally upon us, one week till the release, I think you deserve some information on the elusive 'M.C.O.B'. Click Here to find out the details on the album. The disc is currently in NYC being duplicated, and as always 'barring unforseen complications' should be available on schedule, 1/29/2002. |
|
January 20,
2002: Okay.. the mail 'situation' has been resolved and the demos are in hand. Good news indeed. We are back on schedule for the January 29th release of the whole album. Watch this space for info on Denver stores that will be carrying it. You will of course be able to order it online as well, using Pay Pal. If you think you would prefer to pay by credit card and order it direct, visit www.paypal.com and set up a FREE account which will allow you to do this. C'mon, all the cool kids are doing it, so why not you? |

January 17,
2002: NEWS: "audio" section has been updated to include two tracks from m.c.o.b. Click "audio" on the menu to your left. Also, thanks to the USPS playing with my mojo in a big way, there may be a slight delay on the release. Keep your fingers crossed, hopefully not... |
| January
15, 2002: Thank you VERY much to everyone who gave me such valuable feedback on the preview disc. Right now, the demo is in NYC being duplicated, and barring unforseen complications, the album itself will be following suit next week. Keep your fingers crossed, January 29 still looks like a good release date. Also: I am tentatively planning an intimate 'release' party to celebrate once it is released. Watch your email for info on this. I had every intention of having some MP3's on the site from the album, but alas, my 56k modem is not cooperating and therefore I will have to upload them from another place. Soon. |
| January 9, 2002: To begin, thanks to Sarah, the first respondant on the preview disc. Also, it has come to my attention that some people may experience problems viewing this site w/ various browsers. If you encounter something like this, please email me at info@omnivoyeur.com with the details and I'll try to resolve it. |
|
January 7,
2002: Good news: Only a little behind schedule. Actually, even though the 'preview' copies of the album were delayed by a week (tech problems @ the studio I'm afraid), the actual release date is still on track. January 29th. Pictures, and the name of the release will be available on the site soon, so please check back. |

December 21,
2001: Happy Holidays to everyone.. OV news: 15 tracks are done. I hardly believe it myself. There is a final mastering session scheduled for this weekend, but we are right on schedule for the release. I plan to distribute the advance 'previews' of M.C.O.B starting the 26th, so expect to hear from me if you know you're getting one. Have a safe and wonderful holiday.. |
| December 2, 2001: After another stellar weekend in the studio, I am happy to report 9 tracks are now finished. Still on schedule for late January release of M.C.O.B. Still on schedule to have the 15 tracks available for the advance preview by 12/23. Stay tuned. |
| November 24, 2001: First off, thank you to everyone who made my birthday celebration so amazing. Secondly, there is a title for the CD. But I'm not telling what it is. I'm coy like that. Actually I'll give you the initials: M.C.O.B. And a challenge: If anyone can figure out what it is, you will be the proud recipient of: 1)a Pez dispenser. 2)$3. And 3)the first copy of the CD when it comes out (tentatively scheduled for (1/29/2002) Email your guesses, but I'm not holding my breath that anyone will get it.. |
|
November 12,
2001: Okay.. so it's taking a bit longer than expected. Anyone surprised? Me neither. New CD, untitled for now, in production. 6 new tracks recorded with the help of Chad 'the engineering master'. I will be enlisting the advice of my most trusted advisors (hey, you could be one of them) to help me select the top tracks for inclusion on the release once an acceptable number (probably 15) have been recorded. Keep watching this space for news. Emailed encouragement is always a welcome sight.. Thank you all for your patience. |
